Sounds of Pittsburgh chorus is proud to present its’
Master Director, Mr. Denny Price.
Under
Denny’s direction, Sounds of Pittsburgh has won the regional Mid-Sized
Chorus Award several times and competed in the International Harmony
Classic contest. In 2008, the chorus achieved the distinction of being
named the Chorus Champions of Lake Erie Region #17 and competed in the fall 2009 International Competition in
Nashville, TN.
Denny has
been a member and director of three men’s choruses, and has directed three
other Sweet Adeline choruses.
He
has been an avid barbershopper for many years. He has sung in various
quartets and presently sings tenor with the Hot Air Buffoons. In case you
haven't guessed, it is a comedy quartet! The Buffoons have placed several times in the Barbershop Harmony
Society International Competition. If you are interested in contacting the Buffoons,

Denny and
his wife, Margie, reside in West Middlesex, PA. While Denny is directing,
Margie is on the risers singing baritone. They have three children and
several grandchildren.
Denny says
he is "absolutely thrilled" to be part of the ”Sounds” organization and is
looking forward to even more exciting achievements in the future!
